TEACHING

quantum chemistry / Course

I taught quantum at the graduate level in the fall semester. The course covers the topics that include linear algebra and Dirac notation, basic principle of quantum mechanics, Harmonic oscillators, Angular momentum, Hydrogen Atom, perturbation theory, Fermi's Golden rule, Density Functional theory, Hartree-Fock, and Born-Oppenheimer approximation. Programming is also part of the course, where students learn how to write codes (mainly in Python) to solve eigen problems of a given potential (harmonic oscillator, Hydrogen atom), as well as to do time propagation, and perturbation theory. The following notes were taken by one of my students in my class. Instead of keeping it within my class, I decided to share it here.
